Turtle season at Mon Repos
Turtle season runs from November to late March. Nesting females come ashore to lay their eggs from November through to early February, and hatchlings emerge and make their way to the ocean from late January to the end of March. Between late January and late February you may see both.
Turtle Encounter tours run nightly across the season and are led by rangers at the Mon Repos Turtle Centre. Numbers are limited each night and bookings through Queensland National Parks are essential, so it is worth securing your place well before you travel.
