Take a stroll behind the Motel to Alexandra Park home to Bundaberg’s Council operated Zoo. A compact Zoo featuring exhibits with pint size monkeys, dingos, lizards, birds and more.
While you are there, keep an eye out as the wildlife keeper may just bring the dingoes out for their daily stroll through the park!
Riverside Boardwalk
The Riverside Boardwalk along the Burnett River is a great route for the whole family! It’s about 3km from start to finish and the scenery is pretty spectacular!
You can start this walk from Alexandra Park Zoo. Head down the board walk and follow the river bank. This track is perfect for prams and bikes and a perfect spot for fishing with kids. Hire bikes from MC Cycles on Takalvan Street.
